Fair Trade Schools
The Fair Trade Schools Project has now come to an end. However Sam, a trusty LWC volunteer, has kindly compiled a document consisting of a map of the Liverpool Learning Network Areas and the Fair Trade schools within them. If you browse the document you will be able to find schools local to your own who can provide information on being a Fair Trade school. Case studies are also included in this document.
LWC would like to request short case studies from schools that took part in the Fair Trade Schools Project which will be posted on the LWC website. These case studies will provide other schools with an insight into adopting Fair Trade. A case study does not have to be long - a couple of paragraphs will suffice. Please be aware however, that submission of a case study means you agree to be available for contact by other schools enquiring about Fair Trade.
Please submit case studies ready for posting to clare@liverpoolworldcentre.org Thank you!
A Fairtrade School is:
"A school that is committed to Fairtrade, sells and uses Fairtrade products as far as it can, and raises awareness of Fairtrade in the school and local community."
